After successfully showing that LPR has the systems and policies in place to manage their own safety, OSHA recognized LPR’s safety program through the participation in the Voluntary Protection Program or VPP. The VPP brings a culture of a higher level of safety and accountability to each worksite. LPR has been participating in VPP with OSHA for more than 25 years.
LPR Construction Co. utilizes an engineered safety tie-off post system allowing ironworkers to be 100% tied off while erecting structural steel. Two posts can be easily installed to the wide flange beam at ground level with a cable fastened to both posts. The beam is then hoisted in the air and the tie-off system is in place. All LPR field personnel have two lanyards to maintain the ability to be 100% tied-off.
