[vc_row][vc_column][mk_swipe_slideshow images=”7816,7815,7611″ image_width=”1400″ image_height=”700″][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1615994637750{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]The PHX Sky Train is an electric people mover that will replace shuttle busses to and from the Rental Car Facility at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.  LPR erected two stations.  One at the existing Rental Car Facility and other at 24th Street.  The roof, framed of rolled and HSS structural steel, not only made for a unique design, but a challenging installation.  The LPR Preconstruction Engineers went to work on an intricate stability and shoring plan which had to include working around existing conditions and near areas that continued to be open to the public.  The small crew of LPR ironworkers had to work some night shifts to help with logistics.
