This project consisted of a new 20 Cell Baghouse and related ductwork. LPR’s scope included the installation of new ID Fans, structural steel supports, baghouse plate steel, wall tube sheet and mechanical equipment setting such as diverter louvers, poppets and an ash collection system. The baghouse and related equipment were installed in a manner to by-pass the already existing ESP (Electro Static Precipitators) while the plant was still operational. After these installations, LPR removed additional duct work at the scrubber unit and stacked/installed new ducts to reconnect the new equipment. This work was completed in a 45-day planned outage. The Wyodak Baghouse project required pre-construction of all equipment and then connection of new equipment to an existing operating facility during the planned outage.
