The new technology developed by Kodak required a new building and it was needed fast. Due to the scheduling requirements, Kodak, along with MA Mortenson went with a design build program for the structural steel. With the design and detailing occurring almost simultaneously, in addition to design input by L.P.R. and Western Slope Iron, the structure began within a two months of the project’s notice to proceed.
